Tuesday Tablescape {Wine Tasting Party}

So, besides moving this weekend and starting a new job next week...I decided to host a Wine Tasting Party with a handful of friends tomorrow night! Why not, right? I don't have too much going on in my life...

Actually, I planned this party over a month ago before I knew I was going to get a new job and before I knew for sure I was moving...But, there's no turning back now! So in between packing boxes and filling out new hire paperwork, I've been collecting ideas for the party...

It's going to be a "blind" tasting, meaning everyone brings a bottle of wine with the label covered so no one knows who brought which wine. Then, we all taste the different wines and score them based on taste. The wine that gets the best tasting votes overall wins a prize!

Here are some of my inspo pics via {pinterest}

I love the different shades of purple for the tablescape. The space I'm hosting in has a natural wood table. I decided not to cover it in order to have more of a "rustic" / "tuscany" feel. I have 3 small flower pots that I am going to fill with different shades of purple flowers. Also using green and purple glass jars for the center piece.

Love the chalk board place mat idea! Great for name cards too!

You can't have a proper wine tasting without good gormet cheese! I actually downloaded these cute cheese lables from {this} blog. Also, serving mini caprese salads and crostinis made with cream cheese, cucumber and chopped red pepper.

Stay tuned for pics from my Wine Tasting Party later this week!
